Our Services
At Axiom Dentistry of Leesville Road (Raleigh), we believe that dentistry is a blend of science and art. We understand that everyone’s smile is unique; that is why we make sure to take time to understand your individual needs and expectations while keeping your long-term oral health in mind and suggesting solutions that can aesthetically enhance your smile.
Some of the cosmetic and restorative dental solutions offered at our practice are:
Teeth Whitening: Professional teeth whitening is an excellent and effective way to remove surface stains from your teeth. Some people even say that it is one of the fastest ways to look younger since you can achieve a dramatic improvement in the shade of your teeth in a single session. At Axiom Dentistry of Leesville Road (Raleigh), we strive to offer a superior in-chair whitening experience to our patients. We provide state-of-the-art professional whitening solutions from Zoom!, Opalescence and Pola brands.
Veneers: If you are worried about chipped, cracked, unevenly spaced or deeply discolored teeth that cannot be fixed by whitening, our office has the perfect restoration solution for you in the form of veneers. These restorations are made of porcelain or composite and are easily bonded to the front surface of the teeth to mask imperfections. Our practice offers traditional and porcelain veneers, ultra-thin Lumineers, as well as branded veneers from Emax.
Porcelain Crowns & Bridges: Crowns and bridges are widely popular restorations that can be used to replace lost teeth or protect damaged teeth. A crown replaces or covers the enamel of a single tooth, while bridges are used as prosthetics for multiple consecutive missing teeth. These restorations are custom-made by taking impressions of your teeth, so they match the natural look, shape and color of your teeth.
Dental Care for Kids
It is never too early to introduce your child to a dental office. Ideally, we recommend bringing them by their first birthday or when their first milk tooth appears. This way, we are able to track their dental development right from the very start and protect them from dental issues.Emergency Dental Care
Dental emergencies can happen to anyone, anywhere and at any time. That is why we offer emergency dental care services to help you treat pain quickly and possibly prevent the need for extensive treatments later.Cosmetic and Restorative Care
Our office offers cosmetic and restorative dental care solutions. We keep your long-term oral health in mind while suggesting solutions that can aesthetically enhance your smile. We offer professional teeth whitening as an excellent and effective way to remove surface stains from your teeth. Our office also offers veneers as a great way to restore to improve chipped, cracked, unevenly spaced or deeply discolored teeth. Our crown and bridge restorations are helpful for those who are missing one or more teeth.Dental implant restorations are designed to create prosthetic teeth that are just like real teeth in appearance and function. Using dental implants, people with missing teeth can regain the ability to smile and eat with ease and comfort. An implant is essentially a titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone at the site of a missing tooth. The metal fuses to the jawbone through a process known as osseointegration and becomes a part of the oral structure. Prosthetic teeth are placed on top of the implant to create a permanent replacement tooth/teeth.
Dental implants are a restoration of choice for numerous patients. We offer the following varieties of implants at our practice:
- Endosteal implants: These are the most popular type of implants and are placed directly into the jawbone. They require a patient to have enough jawbone density to support the implant fixture.
- Subperiosteal implants: These are specially designed for patients who do not have enough jawbone density. They are placed just below the gum line and above the jaw bone.
- All-on-4 implants: All-on-4 implants are an amazing concept that allows us to replace a full set of teeth supported by just four implants in each jaw (top and bottom). The implants are strategically placed in the mouth at an angle. All-on-4 implants can often be done in a single visit to our office.
Dental implants are installed using a surgical procedure which is conducted using local anesthesia. Once the implant is placed in the jawbone, small posts are attached to the implant. These protrude through the gums and become stable anchors for the artificial teeth.
Complete Checkups
Complete checkups are a great proactive measure to maintain your dental health. A checkup involves a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and entire oral cavity to help detect any possible issues. We also check any existing restorations, your bite and the overall condition of your oral structures.Patient Education
Patient education is a crucial part of your preventive dental exam. We advise you on the best oral care tips, on the importance of having a proper home care regimen such as proper brushing and flossing techniques, a healthy diet for your teeth, and the importance of regular in-office visits. We also answer any questions that you may have concerning your dental health.Dental Cleanings
Professional cleanings are done to clean the mouth and remove any plaque and tartar deposits, especially in areas that cannot be effectively cleaned using a toothbrush or floss. Regular dental cleanings help prevent a host of dental problems such as halitosis, cavities and gum disease. Cleanings will make your smile beautiful, clean and healthy.New Patient Forms
